Visual identity

Visual identity for Kachi Studio

The goal was to establish a cohesive visual identity for the company, built from insights gathered internally about how the brand was actually being used and perceived across teams. This meant defining a visual language that could scale across many different touchpoints — from web to internal and external documents — while still feeling distinctly like the company. As part of this, I developed a set of illustrations that could be reused across materials, giving the brand a more recognizable and consistent visual voice instead of relying on generic stock imagery.

EXAMPLE OF MY ROLE:

As part of the exploration phase for the full visual identity, I created a web design concept - not just applying colors and typography, but exploring how the company should present itself as a whole: tone, structure, and the overall impression it wanted to leave. The concept hasn't been published yet, but served as a way to test and push the identity in a real digital context before it was finalized.

Documents were written in AsciiDoc and managed in GitHub, so the content itself was structured - but there was no defined layout or visual identity applied to it, and turning content into a finished, branded document was a manual, inconsistent process. I designed document templates aligned with the new visual identity, and built scripts to automate the conversion from AsciiDoc into both PDF and DOCX, so anyone could write structured content and get a properly branded, ready-to-share document without manual formatting every time. I created bash scripts in collaboration with Codex.
